This carefully structured sprint prepares students for the 7+ entrance exams by introducing them to exam-style questions across Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning (VR) and Non-Verbal Reasoning (NVR). Designed for pupils beginning their preparation, the course focuses on building familiarity with common question types while developing the core skills needed to approach them with confidence.
Across the sessions, students will strengthen key Maths and English foundations that frequently appear in 7+ assessments, including number work, basic problem-solving, reading comprehension and clear written responses. Alongside this, pupils will be introduced to Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning through carefully selected activities that develop logical thinking, pattern recognition and language-based reasoning skills.

The sprint also helps students become comfortable with the format and expectations of entrance exams. Through guided practice with exam-style questions, pupils will learn how to read instructions carefully, approach unfamiliar problems calmly and begin developing early exam strategies such as pacing and checking their work.
Lessons are designed to be supportive and encouraging, allowing students to build confidence while gradually tackling more challenging tasks. By the end of the sprint, pupils will have a clearer understanding of the types of questions they may encounter in the 7+ exams and feel more prepared to approach them with focus and self-assurance.
