Our primary maths programmes combine systematic teaching with rigorous practice,
helping students build confidence and excel beyond their school level.

Programme Overview

We offer a comprehensive maths programme designed to cater for all ability levels, aiming to build confidence and a genuine love of maths through our innovative approach.

Weekly Sessions

  • 1.5-hour weekly sessions

Session Structure

Each session consists of two parts:

1. Maths Foundation Topic – Focused teaching with plenty of exercises to firmly establish understanding.

2. Challenge Set – Introducing new techniques and strategies to solve more complex maths problems.

Homework

Weekly homework is set to reinforce new concepts and is reviewed at the beginning of each session.

Group Learning

Children are taught in small groups of approximately 6 students, encouraging peer-to-peerlearning and positive group energy.

Regular Assessments

We regularly assess student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents.

Year Breakdown

Small groups of approximately 6 students to promote collaboration and active participation.

Regular Assessments

Ongoing assessments with structured feedback provided to parents.

How to Sign Up for Our Term-Based Classes

For our term-based courses, we place students in regular weekly classes individually, ensuring they are well-suited to the level and atmosphere of each class. This approach helps students get the most out of their lessons.

Sign-Up Process:

1. Fill Out the Enquiry Form
Once you submit the form, you will automatically be added to our waitlist. A member of our team will contact you with a trial date when a space becomes available in an existing class or when a new class opens.

2. Attend a Trial Class
You will be invited to try the class. After your trial, if you wish to continue, we will send an invoice to secure your place in the class for the term.

How do I sign up for term-based programmes?

All holiday courses can be viewed here (All Courses). Once selected and purchased, you will receive a confirmation email with full course details.

Yes, we do offer online courses. Any courses that are available online only or in person only will be clearly indicated in the course description.

One class per term may be rescheduled subject to availability. Full commitment and payment are required prior to commencement, and refunds are not issued for missed sessions. 

All lesson materials and stationery are provided. Students receive a Shine notebook and folder, which should be brought to each session. Replacements are available if required.

Lesson length varies by year group and programme type. Most sessions run between 1.5 and 3 hours, with a short break included.
