About Our Programmes

What subjects do you offer?
We specialise in small-group Maths and English tuition, alongside Verbal and Non- Verbal Reasoning for Year 5 and 6 pupils preparing for the 11+ and independent school entrance exams. We also offer JMC and IMC preparation for students entering national Maths Olympiads, as well as intensive holiday Science courses for GCSE preparation.

We teach students from Year 1 (7+) through to Year 11 (GCSE). Our strongest cohort is within primary education, particularly pupils preparing for the 11+ during Years 5 and 6.

Yes. Our VR and NVR programmes are carefully tailored to independent school entrance examinations. We ensure comprehensive coverage of all question types, with a strong emphasis on technique, accuracy, and confidence.

Our teaching extends well beyond the national curriculum. Lessons are designed to challenge high-ability students, develop analytical thinking, and prepare them rigorously for competitive entrance exams and GCSEs.

Our holiday programmes provide intensive, high-impact revision and consolidation. Term-time programmes follow our structured curriculum, reinforcing current and upcoming school topics while developing the depth of understanding required for complex and unfamiliar exam-style questions.

Class Structure & Learning Experience

How long are classes?

Lesson length varies by year group and programme type. Most sessions run between 1.5 and 3 hours, with a short break included.

We intentionally keep groups small to maintain academic rigour and personalised attention. Classes never exceed 8 students.

Where appropriate, we provide targeted 1:1 support alongside group tuition for students requiring additional reinforcement. We do not offer standalone 1:1 programmes.

Lessons follow our bespoke Shine Curriculum, developed in-house to challenge, engage, and prepare students effectively across both term-time and holiday programmes.

Yes. Carefully selected homework is provided to consolidate learning and reviewed at the start of the following session.

All classes are taught by highly experienced tutors, many of whom currently teach or have taught at leading independent schools across London.
